Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 28, 2026
Version: 1.4.0

Your Privacy Matters

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. We fully comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the latest Data Safety requirements.

1 Introduction

Welcome to Text Repeater ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By installing and using this App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2 Google Play Data Safety Compliance

We believe in absolute transparency. Under the Google Play Developer Console Data Safety guidelines, here is a detailed disclosure of the data collected, processed, and transmitted by our App:

No Personal Information Collected: We do NOT collect or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, precise location (GPS), or the content of the messages you repeat.

Data Type Purpose Transmission & Security User Control
Device & Other IDs
(e.g., Advertising ID / GAID)
Used by AdMob, Meta, Unity Ads, and Firebase for personalized advertising, frequency capping, attribution, and app metrics. Transmitted securely over HTTPS (Encrypted in transit). Can be reset or disabled in your device's Android Google Settings (Ads -> Reset Advertising ID).
App Interactions
(e.g., clicks, screen views)
Used by Firebase Analytics to understand feature adoption, haptic feedback triggers, and improve the user experience. Anonymized and transmitted securely over HTTPS (Encrypted in transit). Fully anonymous usage statistics. No personal identifiers are attached.
Diagnostics & Crash Logs
(e.g., crash stack traces)
Processed to debug application crashes, monitor haptic or clipboard system performance, and maintain application stability. Anonymized and transmitted securely over HTTPS (Encrypted in transit). Non-identifiable telemetry data used strictly for developer bug-fixing.

3 Information Processed Locally on Your Device

The core functionalities of Text Repeater (generating repeated text, converting text to emoji art, saving templates) are processed entirely in the local memory of your device. This local data includes:

  • Text content and Emojis you enter for repetition
  • "Text to Emoji" art layouts and custom patterns
  • Repetition settings (One-by-one, Space, New Line modes)
  • Timestamps of repeated entries
  • Local preferences (Theme selection, vibration preferences, update checking)
  • Saved Favorites and Custom Templates
  • Saved history log of repeated texts (automatically capped at the last 50 entries to prevent OOM)
  • Ad-free reward timers and unlocked duration sessions

Local Isolation: All generated text repeats, favorites, and history reside inside the secure local database sandbox of your device (SharedPreferences). It is never sent to our servers, nor do we have any backends to access it.

4 Firebase Analytics and Crash Reporting

Our app incorporates Firebase SDKs provided by Google Inc. to measure application performance and log anonymized interaction events. This helps us ensure the app remains optimized and bug-free:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase: Tracks user interaction events such as how often the "Text to Emoji" or "History" features are tapped, vibration haptics are triggered, or reward sessions are claimed. This data is collected in aggregate, anonymized form.
  • Firebase Core: Initializes the app infrastructure and links analytics parameters securely.

For more details on Firebase data practices and how Google protects your analytics information, please review the policies below:

5 Advertising and Mediation Networks

To provide all features free of charge, our App utilizes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) with Meta Audience Network and Unity Ads mediation to serve limited advertisements. These SDKs collect Device/Advertising IDs to serve relevant ads, prevent ad fraud, perform frequency capping, and attributes campaigns.

Ad-Free Reward Sessions: Users have the option to watch a single rewarded video ad to unlock an ad-free experience for a specified time (20 minutes). During this time, all interstitial ads are suppressed.

No Banner or Native Ads: We have completely removed Banner and Native ads from the UI to ensure a premium, uncluttered, and battery-friendly workspace.

Please review the privacy policies of our integrated advertising partners:

6 Haptics and Clipboard Controls

The app accesses system haptic systems and the clipboard to deliver local user-interface enhancements:

  • Vibration (Haptics): Triggers subtle physical vibration confirmation when you copy or save text, ensuring physical confirmation. You can toggle this setting in the App menu.
  • Clipboard (Paste & Copy): The app reads from your clipboard only when you explicitly press the "Paste" button in the text input area. The app copies generated text to the clipboard when you tap "Copy". To prevent system crashes and Binder overflows, clipboard copy operations are capped at 200,000 characters. Large repetitions are seamlessly routed to text files using temporary storage.

7 Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take immediate corrective measures.

8 Data Retention and Deletion Rights

Since we do not store any user files, accounts, or personal data on cloud servers, we do not maintain data retention logs.

Your Right to Delete Data: You have absolute control over your local data. You can delete your entire history log, saved favorites, and theme preferences instantly inside the App's menu settings by selecting "Clear History". Uninstalling the App or clearing App Storage from your Android system settings also permanently deletes all local data immediately.

9 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure compliance with legal rules and app store changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date at the top.
